For decades, ISKCON Kota's Govind Dham temple has been a sanctuary in the heart of the city — Mangala Aarti at dawn, Bhagavad-gita classes through the day, and the famous Sunday Feast drawing families from across Kota. Yet online, the temple was almost invisible: timings lived nowhere, festival news travelled by word of mouth, and a devotee wanting to donate, volunteer or simply ask a question had no clear place to go.
The temple team came to Sevaya with a simple wish — to give Govind Dham a digital voice as warm as its welcome, one that could carry daily aartis and timings, events and festivals, and make giving and seva feel like devotion rather than friction.
Together we mapped every aarti, program and campaign, rebuilt the experience around the devotee's journey — from 'what time is darshan?' to 'how do I contribute?' — and launched a fast, mobile-first home where thousands of visitors each year can chant, learn and serve Krishna.
Six deep-rooted problems stood between the temple's mission and its digital home.
Timings, aarti schedules, festivals and programs scattered across a legacy site and social posts — with no single, trusted place for visitors and devotees to plan their visit.
No clear way to give securely — devotees wanted to support prasadam, deity worship and festivals, but there was no campaign hub, no instant receipt and little trust online.
Daily darshan timings and upcoming events were nearly undiscoverable, so visitors arrived at the wrong hour or missed Janmashtami and Radhashtami celebrations entirely.
Devotees searching 'ISKCON Kota' found only generic, global ISKCON content — with none of the schedules, contact and seva details specific to Govind Dham.
Would-be volunteers and newcomers had no channel to ask questions, join programs or offer seva — everyone waited to be asked in person.
Most visitors arrive on phones, yet the old digital presence was text-heavy and dated on small screens — where every second and tap mattered.
Every challenge met a crafted, devotional solution built for the people behind it.
A structured CMS for timings, events, festivals, galleries and blog posts — simple enough for temple volunteers to publish with devotion, not friction.
Campaign-driven giving through a secure payment gateway with instant email receipts, alongside volunteer and seva pathways — every offering acknowledged and effortless.
Daily aarti and darshan timings at a glance, plus a rich events and festivals calendar — from the Sunday Feast to Janmashtami — with dedicated, shareable pages.
One-tap WhatsApp chat for questions, seva enquiries and support woven through the whole site, so devotees reach the temple team in seconds.
Image optimization, caching and edge delivery keep the site instant — even when festival-season traffic peaks.
A mobile-first, accessible layout with clear hierarchy that makes darshan, timings and giving feel natural whether on a phone or a desktop.
